Grandparent's Right to Access and Mediated Parental Support (GRAMPS)

GRAMPS is the division of our organization dedicated to grandparents raising their children's children, or to those wishing to share  time with their grandchildren after being denied, due to divorce or separation. GRAMPS stands for Grandparents’ Right to Access and Mediated Parental Support.

Pennsylvania makes only limited provisions for grandparents who desire to petition for custody or visitation rights. We can educate our members on the to procedure of what the law say's regarding grandparents (third parties rights). Legal determinations can be made by the local family court.

The GRAMPS organization provides group support and education on federal and state
grandparents’ rights. For further help, anyone wishing information can come to the Thursday meetings at the United Way Building held by the Cooperative Parenting staff, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

For details, please contact our coordinator, LaVerne Hunter, 412-244-1459 alongstory@yahoo.com or for Further Assistance, Denise at 412-404-8514 coparenting@yahoo.com.
